Do you really think I’d tell you, dear? I’m sorry, but that’s hilarious!
She kept her usual harsh look, she even hardened it when the man laughed. What was so funny? She tried to understand that man in front of him, but it was really, reallydifficult. Still, Kyouko didn’t said anything, and kept looking at him, waiting until he stopped that laugh. Then the girl started to wonder about what would be the perfect questions to know more about him. And then, she’ll walk away from him. Until she needed some more information. And if she could, she would avoid asking him.
”..Relax, dollface, I was joking. You’ve heard of jokes, I’m sure?”
Again. Dollface. Kyouko sighed. That man was really insistant with his adjectives.
“Yes. I’ve heard about jokes that are, in fact, funny. But I didn’t heard any of them yet. They’re always just awful.”
She flipped her hair. That conversations wasn’t going anywhere. She was looking at him with a defiant eyes, and he was looking at her with that… curious look, he wasn’t angry — not yet — but at that point, she couldn’t just ask him openly about what she wanted to know.
But maybe, she would do it anyway later.
Jesus, was this the girl who couldn’t smile? “Alright, love, calm it down. ” He replied, purposely using pet names now. If this girl wouldn’t show any other emotion, the least he could do was irritate her. It was probably a hobby of his, and he was quite good at it. He didn’t even have to try!
” I’d apologize for you’re history with terrible jokes, but I doubt this is the conversation you’d want to be having, hm?” Besides, idle talk with this girl seemed futile. Cyril didn’t have time for this, anyway.

” And though you have as much expression as a sheet of paper, I can tell you want to find a way out as soon as possible. We all have shit we’d rather be doing.” He said, getting straight to the point. ” I’ve got a couple theories of my own of course, but for some odd reason, I’m a little interested in what you have to say.” Okay, so that was a bit of a fib. But if this girl did know something that could be of interest, talking to her a little longer wouldn’t hurt.

“Trust me, I know; it’s a gift and a curse. You’ll have to try your hardest, though.” A sly smirk replaces the frown that was on his lips previously, now trying hard not to let the frustration show through. He didn’t have the patience to play games right now, but .. Suppose he played along with Cyril for now. The other man might tell Tahno things he needed to know, if he knew any more than Tahno did. Hopefully, he would, and that would mean he’d get out of here as soon as possible. And, besides for that .. if this was the only person he was going to meet here, it probably wouldn’t be wise to make an enemy of him so soon, would it?
“So you don’t know anything about why we’re here, either? This just keeps getting better.” Well, so much for that idea. A sigh escapes the ex-captain’s lips as he crosses his arms over his chest, looking the other over as he does so.
”.. Anyway, my name’s Tahno. And who do I have the pleasure of speaking to right now?”
Cyril scoffed and crossed his arms, smirking right back. This fellow really wasn’t so bad an actor, but after years of experience he could practically smell the frustration. He scratched the back of his neck, cutting the other short.
” Yeah yeah, I’ll try my hardest. “

“And it’s a pleasure to meet you, Tahno.” He offered a hand with a sly smile. ” James Lanched.” Although he wasn’t on a mission, and a fake name wasn’t too badly needed, you never know what kind of characters you’d run into, in places like these. If there ARE any other places like this. Plus, he wasn’t so sure what he thought of this Tahno yet.
” It may be true I’m not sure of where we are right now, or exactly why, but I got a theory.” Cyril said smoothly. ” For this kinda thing, you’ll probably have to forget all that logic bullshit. Nothing about how we got here is logical.” He went on.

” You haven’t been here long, but I’m sure you’ve gotten at least a small look ‘round at the people here. We got the whole package of freaks. Now assume someone has personally selected us to be in this world, together.” On reflex, he waved his hand around while speaking. Doing mild hand gestures, hoping he’d get the point.”
“Now why do you think anyone would do that?”
The man looked back at Kyouko, and didn’t reply her, he was almost lost in his thoughts when he said “Pandora, eh…”She raised a brow. Maybe he was in fact stupid or he didn’t heard her well.
But well, that was just a normal reaction, anyone who came to this place had to process that information, and sometimes, they took their time.
And then, he said another strange thing. First, darling, and now… dollie?
“No. There’s not an obvious exit. And I think that’s pretty obvious, even for someone that just arrived. Thinking before speaking, a really useful and nice habit” she said, keeping her eyes on him.
If there was an obvious exit, she won’t be there. And almost everyone would have left. But here he was, asking for an obvious exit.
Sometimes, Kyouko didn’t understand people. Or how stupid they could be. She closed her eyes for a second, trying to remain calm. She knew that she couldn’t just insult everyone, so she tried her best to, even if she didn’t trust that man, answer his questions — or at least, the ones that Kyouko would want to answer —
Cyril stared for a moment before letting out a quiet laugh. Oh dear, this girl was just a riot. There’s no way this girl could think he was serious, right? Of course not, almost everyone he ran into would know—
Oh god she really didn’t. I suppose you could find this kind of attitude endearing. He thought to himself. If you’re desperate enough.

Now she was calling him an idiot, eh? Cyril almost felt his eye twitch. What a precious little sweetheart. Oh how much sweeter she would be if she’d known he could have bashed her head in within the next 2 minutes. Alas, that kind of murder and attention wasn’t something he’d like to get involved in. Not yet, anyway.

Oh my, more like oh no. Anyway, in all seriousness, this guy had to be a joke… Right? He didn’t stick out of the crowd much, until he decided to make a fool out of himself. Kai really didn’t have time for this! Well, he actually didn’t have time for anyone… Only time for himself of course. He had things to do, and that was to get out of this place but that was starting to look like a no-go! How bothersome, really. One who likes to flirt a lot, he presumed. He only stared at the other with a suspicious look on his face and an eyebrow was raised, a bit confused too. Although, maybe this guy wasn’t suspicious at all, probably just an idiot. Who knew? Kai didn’t but it was easy to make assumptions like so.
Er… Was he even talking to Kai? There were a lot of people around, maybe he shouldn’t say anything. Maybe he should just walk away… Or actually say something?
“Uh, that’s great.” With that said he couldn’t help but roll his eyes a bit. Some people here were rather ridiculous honestly, “Anything else to add?”

Cyril almost laughed at the attitude the kid so quickly showed. He wasn’t a friend, but he was definitely a little shit, wasn’t he? Pandora was sure filled with some interesting characters. The black haired man sneered, looking down on the shorter of the two. This kid didn’t take fakecompliments to well, did he. Was he like this with everyone? Surely this kind of attitude will come back to bite him in the future, not that he could say he was much different.
“Mn, yes, just one more thing, doll.”

In an instant, made a grab at the unnatural looking spikes of hair on the strangers head, not giving two fucks about his personal bubble. Because really, did he ever?
” Can this really be considered hair?”

She was walking once again, she needed to investigate some more about Pandora, and how things worked there.” Hey there, darlin’. Mind telling me where the hell I am?”
Kyouko turned and stared at the man that was smiling at her. She couldn’t understand why he was smiling. He asked her where he was, so he was dragged to Pandora recently, so why he was smiling?
She was confused. Was he an idiot? Usually, when something strange happens — as strange as being violently pulled out from your place and dropped in a new one — you don’t… smile.
And he called her… darling?
He sure was an strange person. Kyouko didn’t like him. There was something about him that the girl couldn’t trust. It was hard for someone to earn her trust, but she was sure that she won’t be able to trust him never.
“You’re in Pandora” she replied, calmly. “You’re not in your birthplace or wherever you lived anymore.”
She kept on staring at him, trying to reach his soul. She was good at knowing people’s personalities, but that time it was rather difficult. Kyouko wasn’t afraid of him — she was at a highschool where the people around her killed each other in many different ways, not many things could frighten her now. — but… there was just… something odd about him. Maybe the way he smiled before.
Once again, another person head over heels for him! What a surprise! Gee, this lady really knew how to show her emotions! Cyril suppressed a groan. The lady before her gave a bored, static expression, almost like a glass dolls’. He’d guess she had a personality to match.
This lady seemed pretty relaxed, though. How interesting. She looked like she was in high school, yet she acted as if she was on some bizarre field trip. Impressive? Perhaps. Freaky? Slightly.

” Pandora, eh..” Cyril said thoughtfully. He began to think of all the myths and legends he had heard in the past considering ’ Pandora’s Box’. It couldn’t have any relevance, could it? It did seem highly improbable. Then again, being dragged into a completely different dimension isn’t so likely either, but that definitely happened. None of that really mattered though. He just wanted a way out. He was a very busy man, after all.
” How quaint. Don’t suppose there’s an obvious exit then, huh dollie.”
